The European Commission’s DG Reform is currently supporting authorities in Austria, Belgium, and Portugal in applying behavioral insights to improve tax compliance.

In a recent series of workshops, participants mapped behavioral challenges, developed fictional taxpayer personas, and sketched low-cost interventions to improve communication and process design.
